  • A public authority named as “National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority” shall be established with a separate budget and independent corporate personality, with the legal capacity to carry out all legal acts and disposal, and shall be affiliated to the Council.
  • The Authority’s head office shall be located in the city of Abu Dhabi, and it may, upon the decision of the Council, establish permanent or temporary branches, centers or offices inside the UAE.
  • The Authority is aimed at fulfilling the UAE’s policy in terms of the necessary actions for the management of emergencies, crises and disasters, subject to the competencies of emergency, crisis and disaster management entities as stipulated under the applicable laws and legislations.
