NCEMA organizes an Occupational Safety and Health Workshop in Fujairah

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), represented by its Center in the Emirate of Fujairah, organized an awareness workshop to promote the concepts of occupational safety and health management system, in the presence of 23 representatives of local and federal authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah.

The workshop aims at spreading the culture of occupational safety and health, and promoting the content of the national standard of occupational safety and health system.


In addition, the workshop introduces the standard implementation mechanism, drafting the safety and health risk register for local institutions and authorities in the Emirate given their utmost importance, in order to enhance the preparedness of corporations and individuals in confronting and avoiding risks they may be exposed to in their work environment, and to preserve the UAE’s human and natural resources.
