NCEMA honors participants of CEMC 2019

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has honored the members of higher committee and the organizing committees of the 6th Crisis and Emergency Management Conference (CEMC 2019), held from 11 to 13 March.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, the conference was held at St. Regis Resort, Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Future Foresight of Emergencies and Crises: Capabilities and Challenges”.

NCEMA Director-General H.E. Jamal Mohammed Al Hosani, in a speech, hailed the efforts exerted by members of all committees for the success of the event. He said the conference managed to reflect the UAE ability of organizing specialized international conferences, since the event was attended by high-profile participants and speakers from around the world.

Al Hosani added that the success of this year edition poses a new challenge for the 2020 edition, pointing out that NCEMA will look forward to providing the best international and national standards in the coming edition.

He called on all to continue doing their best and effectively taking part in all activities organized by the Authority with the aim of improving work and developing objectives and vision of the Emirati leadership.

Senior local and foreign officials as well as employees of emergency, crisis and disaster management departments, ministries and institutions took part in the two-day conference that tackled a number of issues related to emergency and crises.

Several discussions were held on the sidelines of the workshops that were welcomed by the audience.

By the end of the ceremony, Al Hosani honored heads and members of the organizing committee and gave them certificates of appreciation.
