HE Ali Al Neyadi: Emirati Women Are Partners in Development for a Promising Future

His Excellency Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), has stated that Emirati women play a vital role in building a system of progression and development for the UAE, for a promising and ambitious future that meets the aspirations of the leadership in sustainable development. His Excellency expressed his gratitude and pride in the remarkable achievements that Emirati women have achieved, which were observed both nationally and internationally.


In a statement on Emirati Women’s Day, His Excellency Ali Al Neyadi noted: “We are truly blessed in the UAE to have the principles of gender equality as a noble value entrenched within us. This value supports the UAE’s aspirations to become a flourished, prosperous country through the contribution of its people. Together, women and men, we work together to build our country with our goals and aspirations. The country’s achievements would not be feasible without the contributions that our daughters and women have provided. They have offered their hands in service for the sake of the country’s progress, they have contributed to preserving national achievements and lives, and have made great sacrifices for our great nation”.

Emirati Women’s Day this year comes under the theme of “We Collaborate for Tomorrow” following directions by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), the "Mother of the Nation”.

His Excellency Al Neyadi added that Emirati Women have given many contributions in both hardship and prosperity, and the country is witnessing these achievements today. “Such contributions were due to the support of the leadership and the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates”. He added that Emirati women received continuous support for the sake of maintaining their honorary place in society as vital partners in sustainable development.

His Excellency Chairman of NCEMA noted that this year comes especially important mainly in part to the UAE’s hosting of COP 28, stressing that: “the world is facing unique challenges that require modern solutions through collective societal integration that joins both women and men together. The challenge lies in the next generation which we look at as the positive and more promising change. We are proud of what Emirati women have achieved and their tremendous roles, and we look forward to the next generation’s national achievements with pride”.
