The National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management Authority holds a training course on strategic thinking patterns for all of its staff Tuesday, September 24, 2019 The National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management Authority held a training course titled “Strategic Thinking Patterns” for all of its employees for the purpose of helping them improve their performance across all fields of work and providing them with all tools and resources necessary to achieve leadership in the emergency, crisis and disaster management field. The course primarily aims to introduce the participants to the concept of strategic thinking and its characteristics, as well as how to translate those goals into effective action plans. The course also focused on educating the employees on how to analyze the internal and external environment and identify available opportunities and potential threats. Furthermore, it discussed the means to develop the employees’ strategic thinking skills and their ability to use thinking patterns that support strategic thinking. As the course concluded, Mr. Yousef Al Harmoudi, Director of the Planning and Preparedness Department, honored the participants and spoke of the importance of this type of courses in sharpening the employees’ skills and helping them achieve better performance and productivity.
