UAE Vice President and Italian Prime Minister sign a joint declaration on cooperation in presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid: NCEMA signs an agreement with the Italian Republic
H.H.Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and UAE PM and Ruler of Dubai, and Italian PM, Mario Monti, signed a joint declaration aimed at strengthening bilateral relations on the basisof common values, tolerance, positive interaction and mutual respect.
The joint declaration focused on the importance to reach a strategic partnership through a series of initiatives which define the best ways to achieve common goals. The declaration also hailed the efforts intended to enhance bilateral relations and economic, political and cultural cooperation.
H.E. Abdul RahmanOueis, UAE Minister of Culture and Youth Development and H.E. Italian Ambassador to the UAE, Giorgio Starace, signed a cooperation agreement in the domain of arts, culture and Heritage, in presence of H.H.Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and UAE PM and Ruler of Dubai, Italian PM, Mario Monti, andH.H.SheikhMaktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The ceremony took place in H.H.Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s palace in Zabeel.
Moreover, His Highness and the Italian PM attended the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding involving NCEMA, the Italian Premiership and the Ministry of Civil Protection. TheMoU was signed by H.E. Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, NCEMA’s Director General and H.E. Italian Ambassador to the UAE, Giorgio Starace.
Were also present at the signing ceremonies H.H.Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Emirates Group and Chairman of Dubai World, HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qarqawi, UAE Minister of State for the Council of Ministers Affairs, H.E. Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy and HE Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, UAE Minister of State.
